Koh Larn (Coral Island)

Beginner

Most accessible dive site from Pattaya. Good for introductory dives and snorkeling.

Depth: 5–18mVisibility: 5–15mLife: Soft coral, reef fish, sea urchins

Koh Sak

Beginner–Intermediate

Small island with healthy coral gardens. Better visibility than Koh Larn.

Depth: 5–20mVisibility: 8–15mLife: Hard coral, barracuda, triggerfish

Koh Krok

Intermediate

Uninhabited island with excellent wall dives and macro life.

Depth: 8–22mVisibility: 8–20mLife: Coral walls, moray eels, seahorses

Koh Rin

Intermediate–Advanced

Further offshore with better visibility and larger marine life. Seasonal whale shark sightings.

Depth: 10–30mVisibility: 10–25mLife: Whale sharks (seasonal), barracuda schools

HTMS Khram Wreck

Advanced

Decommissioned navy vessel sunk as artificial reef in 2003. Excellent for wreck diving certification.

Samae San Islands

All levels

Navy-controlled area south of Pattaya. Less visited, better conditions. Permit required.

Depth: 5–25mVisibility: 10–20mLife: Pristine coral, turtles, nudibranch

Try diving with no certification needed. Pool training + 1 ocean dive.

PADI Open Water

Full certification to dive to 18m worldwide. Includes all gear and boat trips.

PADI Advanced Open Water

2 days10,000–13,000 THB

5 adventure dives including deep dive and navigation. Certifies to 30m.

Fun Dives (Certified)
