    Visa Exemption (Most Common for Tourists)

    Citizens from 93 countries can enter Thailand without a visa for tourism purposes. As of 2024, the exemption period was extended from 30 to 60 days for most nationalities.

    Visit Pattaya Immigration, pay 1,900 THB, bring passport photos and TM.30 receipt

    Requirements for Entry:

    • Valid passport with 6+ months validity
    • Proof of onward travel (return or onward flight)
    • Proof of funds (20,000 THB per person or equivalent)
    • Completed arrival card (TM.6 - now mostly digital)

    90-Day Reporting for Long-Term Stays

    If you stay in Thailand for more than 90 consecutive days, you must report your address to Immigration every 90 days. This applies to all visa types.
