    Overview

Pratumnak (also written Phra Tamnak) is the hilly peninsula between Central Pattaya and Jomtien. It contains some of Pattaya's most upscale residential condos, the Royal Thai Navy compound, Cosy Beach, Buddha Mountain (Khao Chi Chan viewpoint), and the Wat Phra Yai Big Buddha. Streets are leafy and quieter than the city below; some buildings have full bay views. It's a top choice for retirees and discreet long-stay residents who still want easy access to both Pattaya and Jomtien.
