    Island Hopping Tips

    • Ferries to Koh Larn depart from Bali Hai Pier (South Pattaya) every 30 minutes from 7AM–6:30PM
    • Bring cash — most islands have limited or no ATMs
    • Rent a motorbike on Koh Larn (300 THB/day) to explore all 6 beaches
    • Book speedboat tours at Bali Hai Pier — negotiate prices, especially in low season
    • National park fee of 200 THB applies for Koh Samet (foreigners)
    • The best snorkeling is at Koh Sak and Koh Krok — bring your own mask for cleaner gear
    • Avoid weekends and Thai holidays — islands get very crowded
    • Wear reef-safe sunscreen to protect coral ecosystems
