When to Expect Rain
Rainy season: June–October with peak rainfall in September–October. Typical pattern: morning sun, afternoon thunderstorm (1–3 hours), evening clearing. Not all rainy season days have heavy rain — some are just brief showers. November–February is dry season with rare rain. Flash floods can occur on low-lying roads during heavy downpours — avoid driving through standing water. Always carry a small umbrella during rainy season.
