For a less chaotic NYE: Jomtien Beach Road restaurants host dinner-countdown events (1,000–2,500 THB). Pratumnak Hill bars offer elevated views of multiple firework displays. Na Jomtien's Ambassador City does a massive (and affordable) gala. You'll still hear fireworks everywhere — it's Pattaya's loudest night.

Best fireworks photo spots: Pattaya Hill viewpoint (arrive by 8 PM), Pratumnak Hill, and rooftop bars. Use a wide-angle lens for Beach Road panoramas. The light and energy of Walking Street at midnight makes incredible street photography. Secure your phone/camera — pickpocketing increases in dense crowds.

Keep valuables in your hotel safe. Carry only the cash you need. Watch for pickpockets in crowds. Don't accept drinks from strangers.
