- Editorial fieldwork — our contributors visit places, take photos, gather pricing, verify hours, talk to staff.
- Secondary sources — established news outlets (Bangkok Post, Pattaya Mail), professional bodies, peer-reviewed research.
What we never do
- Publish unverified rumors as fact.
- Quote prices without a date and source.
- Cite social-media posts as primary sources.
- Recommend businesses solely on the basis of advertising payment.
